To make them look smooth and glossy, I recommend applying 2-3 coats of the polish, then applying one coat of a glitter smoother, followed by one coat of top coat. The swatch wheel pictures show 2 coats of polish with one coat of top coat in a variety of direct and indirect outdoor lighting contexts.
