Syrup of Figs is a plum base with pink-orange-green shimmer. The original patent medicine Syrup of Figs was used as a laxative - but if you think that’s all they marketed it for, you would be mistaken! It was a miracle drug of course (much like every patent medicine of the time). It would cleanse your body of all ailments from fevers to headaches. Not only that, it was tasty too!
